The spring troop Merit Badge Madness will not be on March 24th. We are trying to get it for St. Patrick’s Day, but we will settle for Presidents Day if our first choice is unavailable.

We are going to go to the Valley Forge Pilgrimage on President’s Day as long as the MBM is on St. Patrick’s Day.

The ski trip is coming up on January 6th through 8th. The adult in charge needs information including shoe size, height, etc.

No major problems were noted due to the reorganization of patrols, other than neither of the new patrols can agree on a name.

The order of troop meetings has been switched to the first meeting being leadership, the second being the New Guys, the third will be the Phoenix, and the fourth will be the Border Llamas of Ni. In the event of a fifth Wednesday in a month, the adults will run it.

January’s theme is hobbies. The New Guys meeting will be on sports, the Phoenix on collections, and the Border Llamas of Ni’s meeting will be based on outdoors.

There is a Baltimore Blast game on January 28th where boy scouts are invited to come. As Klondike Derby is the same weekend, it will be offered as a patrol activity.

On January 25th, there will be Order of the Arrow elections. Please attend so that your fellow scouts have the best chance of making it.
