We agreed that the Border Patrol is going to be a Venture Patrol. All their Venture activities, not fundraisers, count towards Honor Patrol IF they turn in forms for them.

Cape Cleanup is September 23rd-25th. The adults in charge are Barb M, Tony M, and Dave S. Liam P and Edward K have both volunteered to be scout in charge.

Woodsmoke is on October 14th-16th. Adult- Tim M Scout- We need one!!! The troop will pay for all scouts who want to attend Woodsmoke.

Court of Honor is on August 28th at Sandy Point Youth Area. It is at 6:30pm. Dyton C is MC and Barb M is adult in charge. All attendees of the Jamboree are asked to wear their Jambo Class A and bring any memorabilia from it.

On September 16th-18th we have Field Sports Challenge. Adult in charge- Chris K Scout in charge- Matthew D.

On September 18th there is going to be a Jamboree reunion. We are verifying if this is a whole contingent event. Parkville High School from 4-6PM. Adults and family members cost $10-12. Jambo Scouts are free.

Merit Badge Madness is on October 28th-30th. the adults in charge are Steve W and Jeff F. The scout in charge is Daniel V.

The troop is going to have a daytrip to Be Prepared Central Maryland on October 22nd at the Timonium Fairgrounds.

The Orienteering Challenge is coming up on November 5th. The adult in charge is John P. We don't have a scout in charge yet.

The troop is planning to participate in C.O.P.E. at summer camp.

The PLC would like to see an adult certified to take us rock climbing other places.

We agreed to accept the committee's suggestion changing the Uniform Policy to:

First Week: Class A [full uniform]
Second Week: Class B [Orange Troop Shirts] (or Class A)
Third - Fifth Week: Class C [any scout shirt] (or Class A or Class B)
National Honor Patrol will be based on wearing the correct (or better) uniform for that week.

The New Guys continue to need the Troop Guides to work with them. Matt D and Edward K have offered to continue in their roles.

The committee has decided not to participate in the Popcorn sales this year given an inferior product, and expensive price.

The committee has agreed to fund a backpacking Patrol Kit including Water Purifiers and stoves. Tents are not a part of this.

Den Chiefs: Mike W is Den Chief for Pack 2214 Web-2. Pack 723 and 727 have asked for Den chiefs.

Troop Elections Platforms are August 31st. Elections are September 7. JLT is September 30-October 2. Many positions are going to be opened including Librarian, Scribe, Webmaster, SPL, ASPL.
